We launched in 2016 as the Devon Youth Games, a charity in South West England focused on engaging children in regular physical activity and community sport to help alleviate inactivity and child obesity.
The good news is that we were successful and, in 2018, nearly 4,000 young people took part in our programmes, consisting mostly of traditional sports such as rugby, netball, football and hockey.
But that same year we had our lightbulb moment!
WHAT WE DO
Planet Earth Games offers opportunities to actively engage with nature and the outdoors, make the environment a better place and learn more about best practice in sustainable living.
Fun and games are the key ingredients – and by playing the games, you’re playing your part in protecting the planet.
