Coast to coast
Setting off from the north coast at Llandudno on Friday 16 September our intrepid team completed their epic trip by rolling into Cardiff on the southern coast on Sunday 18 September. The team passed through Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons en route and followed the Western coast, taking in stunning natural landscapes.
Target smashed
Huge congratulations to Chris, Nick, Patrick, Bryony and Hannah for the amazing feat and for helping smash the £500 fundraising target to support Planet Earth Games Trust’s efforts to launch community plogging.
Challenging times
Chris Broadbent, Planet Earth Games founder and one of the quintet said: “It took a huge effort from the whole team, but everyone dug deep to complete this ambitious challenge.
“We were also blown away by some of the incredible scenery throughout, it was a constant reminder of the need to preserve the natural environment for the good of the planet, but also for our own wellbeing.
“We are hoping to launch more fundraising events in the coming year, but would also love to hear from any supporters out there keen to support our young charity with their own challenges.”
