Planet Earth Games for Primary Schools — Winners Announced!

Following six dynamic challenges across October and November, with thousands of pupils participating from primary schools across the UK, the very first Planet Earth Games for Primary Schools has officially come to a close — and the results are in!
Schools took part in six sustainability-focused challenges designed to inspire climate action, creativity, and collaboration:
- Active Travel Day
- Plant-Based Food Day
- Build a Home for Nature
- Nature Games
- Plogging / Litter-Picking
- Your Eco Challenge
Schools earned points for participation and innovation throughout the programme. Those completing all six challenges received bonus points for their outstanding commitment.
Overall Results — Primary School Champions 2025
First place: Iver Heath Junior School, Buckinghamshire
Second place: Bar Hill Community Primary School, Cambridge
Third place: Wave Multi Academy Trust, Cornwall
Planet Earth Games Founder, Chris Broadbent, said: “Congratulations to our winners and everyone who took part in making the very first Planet Earth Games for Primary Schools such a huge success. Climate change demands collective action, innovation, and courageous leadership from the next generation — and it has been incredibly encouraging to see these values come to life throughout the competition.

The Planet Earth Games for Primary Schools will return in 2026, following a review and participant feedback, with plans to make the programme even bigger and more impactful.
