Planet Earth Games is partnering with Veganuary to deliver the first month of the 2022 Games. The linkup means that anyone who enters Planet Earth Games via the Veganuary site  will  be automatically entered for both activities in 2022.

Planet Earth Games has long supported the veganism movement, encouraging more people to consider more plant-based alternatives for environmental and personal health. Studies increasingly show the environmental benefit of switching to a plant-based diet.

A study from the University of Oxford found that people can cut their carbon footprint from food by up to 73% by switching to a vegan diet. Planet Earth Games have also worked with multiple vegan athletes including GB rower Melissa Wilson (left)and record-breaking runner Fiona Oakes who have advocated the benefit of switching to veganism.

2022 will see Planet Earth Games kick off a packed year of challenges with four weekly challenges for Veganuary around the theme of veganism and designed to inspire people towards active and sustainable lifestyles.
