Following a three month-long competition, Keighley College have been crowned Planet Earth Games – Colleges winners for 2023. Colleges across the UK took part in the event, held in partnership with AoC Sport and Pearson BTEC, where they were challenged to deliver sustainable events and activities across seven sustainable living

Each college was led by student Climate Champions, who participating Colleges have shown incredible commitment and creativity, hosting events and activities including:

• Building a Jungle Gym
• Energy generating eco gym workout
• Vegan Yoga
• Litter Picking
• Setting up a Sustainability Shop
• Clothes swaps

Each entry was analysed by an expert judging panel including Team GB badminton player Lauren Smith, British Assoication of Sustainable Sport Chairman Russell Seymour, Bambuu Brushes founder Tommie Eaton, Sam Strickson of AoC Sport, Gareth Pearson of Pearson BTEC and Planet Earth Games founder Chris Broadbent based on innovation, carbon reduction and student engagement.

Across the whole programme an incredible 17896 sustainable actions took place!
