Planet Earth Games are proud to welcome Mooncup Ltd as a premium partner for the 2021 event which takes place across August.
The virtual Planet Earth Games features 31 challenges that help the planet by educating, inspiring and influencing people towards active, sustainable lifestyles. Many of the challenges will be fronted by Olympic and Paralympic athletes as the Planet Earth Games coincides with Tokyo 2020.
Lena Koskela, Marketing Manager for Mooncup Ltd said: “We’re thrilled to be supporting Planet Earth Games this August. Since the outset, Mooncup Ltd. have been fighting for a world with no period plastic waste on our beaches – or anywhere else for that matter! The Mooncup menstrual cup is made in the UK and trusted by millions, including elite athletes the world over.
Being the pioneers of plastic free periods, we know that the wave of change starts with small ripples. We will be challenging each and every one of us to look around us, spot the single use plastic in our bathrooms and commit to small plastic free swaps in our lives.
Planet Earth Games founder Chris Broadbent said: “Planet Earth Games works by motivating people to make small changes to their everyday lives for the greater good of the planet. But to have some fun along the way too!
“We are thrilled to be teaming up with Mooncup Ltd. as a premium partner of Planet Earth Games. They are just the type of company who share our ethos of #HealthyPlanet #HealthyPeople by being innovative and providing everyday solutions to enable people to make sustainable lifestyle choices.
“We can’t wait to host Mooncup Ltd’s plastic audit challenge as part of the Planet Earth Games.”
